Im Zug - a true love song. Written by Soloman on the train from German North Sea island Norderney back to his home. Reminiscing the time he spent with his girl on the island and longing for the next time he'd be with her. He played the song with his funk/soul band and recorded a demo - and when Enno Jesse heard the demo he immediately saw the song's potential in an electronic music environment.

Said and done. Enno produced his version of Soloman's song and managed to arrange a pretty eclectic set of remixers for the project (both musically and geographically). There's Ace Paradise (Ed Aceto, US), the veteran electro head who has seen and done it all, Michael King (AU), best known for breaking straight measures and creating lively beats topped with tasty synth motives, No Sonic Limits (Lars Knudsen, DK), artist and label owner, best known for his intense and slamming progressive tracks, Tim Diern (DE), who can't go without a grain of funk in any of his tracks, and finally Yoursck (Christian Kruse, DE), owner of the label "Samplefriends" that this package is released on and a gifted producer of wide-ranging electronic music.

This piece has taken quite a turn, starting out as a poem written on a train, evolving into a song sung by a man accompanied by his guitar, growing to be a mature song supported by various instruments in a band context and flowing into being the backbone of a selection of superb EDM tracks. As said, this bunch has become a pretty eclectic one, letting the original song shine and show all of its emotional facets. Who knows, maybe one day we'll hear the original "Original Mix".

Yello, early (Acid) house and mid 80s Hip-Hop were the driving forces behind Enno Jesses initial musical career. Starting with experimental sound spheres on rickety Casio home keyboards together with Henning Brau (aka RokDaZone) in 1986, the 8bit Amiga computer, Kawai synthesizers and Yamaha drum machines opened new dimensions for they musical endeavors in 1988. With Ennos enthusiasm for unconventional creativity and Hennings admiration for ear-appealing sound programming, the two friends dived deeply into diverse musical directions like Hip-Hop, EBM, Tech House, Synth-Pop and Acid House in ever-changing ensembles together with a mass of fellow musicians. It needs a five year break after 1992 for them to reunite in 1997 to form the project "Psycore feat. RokDaZone", which was renamed to "Tiefsee Productions" shortly after. This project also held its own label specialized on hardtrance and progressive house. In 2000 they decided to stop the cooperation.

Together with Ralf Nitz (Soloman), Enno formed the "Smashin Drumkits" project: a highly experimental mishmash. Enno Jesse also produced numerous progressive house tracks under his own name or together with other musicians. In that period he also started his deejaying career making him a veritable gatecrasher for headlining DJs.
